Major Attractions of the Amongmong Festival

Singkitshaa (1st Day)

On this day, the animals purchased on the first day are sacrificed, and the meat is used for feasting. The rest is divided into two portions, known as Athiru and Akhingru.

Musuyangtap (3rd Day)

The third day focuses on Amongmong rituals. The oldest woman of the tribe worships three oven stones, symbolizing Lord Lijaba. After the ritual, the tribe enjoys a day filled with feasting, dancing, and merrymaking.

Kikha-Langpi (4th Day)
